Welcome... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
It takes some people a while to find the right career path. Ultimately, the goal is to find a profession you enjoy, allowing you to excel quickly. I was fortunate enough to know very early on that architecture would be the perfect career for me. It has always been a great fit and I truly enjoy what I do. Besides the traditional practice of architecture, I also have a great interest in computers and applications, which has lead me to take an active role in CAD some years ago and more recently, in the BIM revolution. We are in the middle of an exciting period of change as new technologies and new software allow us to make the next logical step in our profession. Since Building Information Modeling results in a virtual version of the actual project, many digital analyses are possible. This opens up a whole new realm of possibilities. Currently my role is to implement and teach Autodesk’s Revit Architecture at my firm and a local college as well as pioneer new methods for advancing my firm in the BIM world...
